Iranian American Community of Louisiana

Iranian American Community of Louisiana (IAC-LA) is a non-profit, non-partisan, all-volunteer organization representing the Iranian-Americans. As a responsible community, we have been working through active engagement in the political process and have been educating the community, the media, and our representatives on priorities important to our community, particularly about human rights in Iran that serve the best interests of Iranian, the American people, and the global community.

Though our members may have different interests and political affiliations, we are all united for a free Iran with no version of the current regime since its legitimacy is not derived from the Iranian people and a true, transparent ballot box. The current regime should, therefore, be peacefully changed by the Iranian people. We believe this serves the security, peace, and prosperity of the global community, the region, and Iran.

Our Goal

The Iranian American Community of Louisiana (IAC-LA) advocates for a democratic, secular, non-nuclear republic Iran that is in peace with the global community of nations. We are committed to the United Nations Human Rights Charter, respect for human rights, gender equality, religious and ethnic tolerance, freedom of speech, association and parties, etc. We advocate for a global community that is more humane, cooperative, compassionate, secure, and peaceful. Advocating these values makes us less indifferent towards the suffering of Iranian people, and more of better citizens at home.
